Choosing a Job with MBA
Have more concentration on your job seeking process and schedule once you complete your MBA. However if you are near to start an MBA program don't start applying for particular jobs straight away. Few organizations would also offer you a job to take up at a later date so apply when you are well into your MBA program.
If your School arranges recruitment ‘fairs' then find out when recruiters from organizations would be visiting your School and to be certain to apply for any specific jobs that you are interested in before these begin.
As a universal rule the end of your MBA program should be ‘in sight' before you go for applying - as organizations would need to know how your have been getting on with your program.
TIPS -
- Watch what the others are doing, and then apply around the same time not to be late.
- Try to avoid getting into a condition in which you have to prepare for and attend further more interviews when you desire to be concentrating on exams etc. You know what your deadlines and critical times are outside organizations don't know it.
- Be prepared for time intense processes. Possible employers might expect you to meet with them lots of times so try not to get implicated at times which do not suit you.
